根据人民教育出版社《义务教育教科书英语》九年级全一册You’re supposed to shake hands. Section B 3a-3b 部分,按要求进行相应的教学设计。
1.确定这节课的教学重难点。
2.设计一个导入环节。
3.设计一个写前活动的教学片段。
4.设计一个写后活动的教学片段。
【参考设计】
1. Teaching Key and Difficult Points
(1) Teaching key point
Students can write an email in right format and know some difference between Chinese culture and Western culture.
(2) Teaching difficult point
Students can know the importance of etiquette in China and pay more attention to their behaviors.
2 Warming up and lead-in
Show students some pictures about Chinese customs. And then ask them to have a discussion about these pictures and write down the key words, sentences and so on. After the discussion, invite some students to describe these pictures.
For example, they may describe the pictures as “The girl was angry because her boyfriend was late” “The kid was blamed for using chopsticks to knocks dishes”. Give some necessary guidance and correction.
Justification: Vivid and lively pictures can quickly attract students’ attention and lead in today’s topic easily.
3. Pre-writing
Teacher will let students have a brainstorming. Students will be given 10mins to have a group discussion about Chinese customs with their partners, and they should complete the chart in 3a.
After students getting the main body of the email, teacher will analyse the format, and remind students of salutation and the comma after it, as well as the greetings and so on.
Justification: Based on the given email, students can find out the correct writing format and main content of the email.
4. Post-writing
(1) Peer-editing
Students should exchange their articles with their group members. The teacher will guide them to read and check the structure and main content. Moreover, opinions given in the articles should also be paid attention to. Finally, grammar and spelling should be checked as well.
(2) Sharing and polish
Some volunteers will be invited to share their articles in front of the class. Then the teacher will guide students to give some remarks and advice. Students should talk about which article they like best and give the reasons. If necessary, the teacher will give them a hand.
Justification: Students can revise and polish their compositions after sharing, and their ability to write and express their ideas can be improved.
